• To confirm appointments and send session reminders
• To process payments via Razorpay
• To personalise your care and track your progress
• To communicate with you about your account and services
• To comply with applicable laws and ethical obligations

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Under the DPDP Act 2023, we process your personal data on the following grounds:

• Consent: You provide consent when registering or booking a session
• Contractual necessity: To deliver the services you have booked
• Legal obligation: Where required by Indian law

5. Health & Sensitive Data

Mental health information is sensitive personal data. We treat it with the highest level of confidentiality. Your health data is:

• Accessible only to Dr. Priya Dubey Sharma and authorised clinical staff
• Never shared with third parties without your explicit written consent
• Stored securely on encrypted servers in India (Hostinger)
• Subject to professional ethical obligations under psychological practice standards

6. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with:

• Razorpay: For payment processing (governed by Razorpay’s Privacy Policy)
• Google: For Google Meet (online sessions) and Google Drive (document storage)
• Law enforcement: If required by a court order or applicable law
• Emergency situations: If there is an immediate risk to your safety or others, we may disclose minimum necessary information

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Clinical records are retained for a minimum of 7 years as per standard practice. You may request deletion of non-clinical data at any time (see Section 9).

11. Children’s Privacy

We offer Teen & Young Adult Counselling for clients aged 13–17 with parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
