The problem no one talks about

In India, 150 million people need mental health care. Less than 30 million get it. The reason isn’t always stigma — often, it’s simply cost. A single therapy session can cost ₹1,000–3,000. For a daily wage worker, that’s a week’s earnings.

Manas was founded with a belief that honest, compassionate psychological care should be available to everyone — regardless of who you are or where you come from.

संवेदना means empathy — the ability to feel what another person feels. It’s not charity. It’s a responsibility.

Our Programmes

Our Initiatives

Free Counselling Clinics

Monthly free walk-in sessions for individuals and families who cannot afford private counselling. Led by Dr. Priya Dubey Sharma and associate counsellors.

School Mental Health Programme

Workshops in government and low-income private schools — emotional awareness, stress management, and anti-bullying for students, teachers, and parents.

Community Awareness Camps

Free mental health screening, de-addiction awareness, and psychological first-aid in underserved communities and villages around Bhopal.

Crisis Support

Immediate psychological support during community crises — natural disasters, industrial accidents, mass trauma events. Manas’s trained team deploys within 24 hours.

Corporate CSR Partnerships

Companies can fund Samvedna initiatives as part of their CSR obligations under Section 135 of the Companies Act. Every rupee goes directly to free mental health services. Full impact reporting provided.
