Privacy Policy
Manas POSH Compliance Platform, operated by Manas Center for Mental Wellness and Counselling (“Manas”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data in connection with the POSH compliance services provided through this platform. It is aligned with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) and the confidentiality requirements of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (the “POSH Act”).
1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, and login credentials of the person who registers on behalf of an organisation.
- Organisation data: company name, sector, employee headcount, office locations, and logo.
- Internal Committee data: the name, designation, email, phone, gender and role of the members you nominate to your Internal Committee.
- Complaint data (sensitive): information submitted through the confidential complaint channel, which may include the identity of the complainant, the person complained against, and the details of the incident.
- Usage and technical data: log data necessary to operate and secure the platform.
2. Why we use it
We use this data solely to provide the POSH compliance services you have engaged us for: generating your compliance documents, constituting and managing your Internal Committee, operating the confidential complaint channel and case records, delivering training, preparing statutory reports, and administering your subscription and invoicing.
3. Consent and lawful basis
We process personal data on the basis of your consent and to perform the services requested. Internal Committee members’ details are provided to us by the organisation for the specific, lawful purpose of constituting the committee under the POSH Act.
4. Confidentiality of complaint data
Complaint information is treated as strictly confidential in accordance with Section 16 of the POSH Act. Access is restricted to the members of the relevant Internal Committee, the empanelled external member, and authorised Manas personnel who support the committee. It is never published or disclosed to unauthorised persons.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only: (a) with the members of your Internal Committee and the external member, to the extent necessary for them to perform their statutory role; and (b) with service providers who host our platform and process payments, under appropriate safeguards. We may disclose data where required by law.
6. Retention
We retain compliance records for as long as required to meet the record-keeping and audit obligations under the POSH Act and applicable law, and thereafter delete or anonymise them.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and may withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact our Grievance Officer below. Requests relating to complaint data are handled consistently with the confidentiality and record-keeping duties of the Internal Committee under the POSH Act.
8. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including access controls and logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we continually work to strengthen our safeguards.

We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the platform securely.
